Instructions
Until now we’ve been mostly examining Evernote Desktop version. Arguably, it is the richest version in features.
When you log into Evernote web, you’ll notice that it looks much more compact than Evernote desktop. The intention is to allow a more distraction-free experience.
So, here are the main differences of Evernote web:
- There is no Toolbar. Instead the main Toolbar features can be found on the Sidebar: New Note, Search, New Chat.
- Right below you will find Shortcuts, Notes, Notebooks, and Tags.
- In the bottom left corner you will find shortcut to your account info.
- The middle area lists Notes and if you hover over each note, you’ll see that you have an option to share it, set a reminder for it, create a shortcut for it or delete it.
- The same four options are available at the top left of the Note.
- Right below it you’ll see the formatting ribbon.
- Last but not least, in the right upper corner you’ll see a button to Expand the view = go into the focus mode and see just the Note you are working in.
