To leave notes to myself
To decorate a document with little call-out boxes in the margins
To give feedback on a document you are reviewing and passing back-and-forth electronically (rather than a hard copy and writing on paper)
Is there a Short Cut Key associated with New Comment?
No - none appear on the tool tip of New Comment
Yes - You just have to make your own
You are done with the comments and you want to quickly make sure all comments are removed. How?
Review Ribbon, Delete comments one at a time
Review Ribbon, Delete comments, select Delete all comments in Document
Just turn off Show Comments, the call-outs won’t print anyway
