1. When completing the application for PMP®, the experience shown must represent project management activity in which categories?
The project management knowledge areas of Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholders.
The process groups Initiating, Planning, Executing, Closing, and Monitoring and Controlling.
Each of the preceding three years if you have a bachelor’s degree or five years if you only have a high school degree.
2. If your PMP® application is selected for audit, what must you do?
Provide supporting documentation to demonstrate the education and experience elements of the application within 90 days of notification of selection for audit.
Provide supporting documentation to demonstrate the education and experience elements of the application within 7 days of notification of selection for audit.
Setup conference calls with the verification points of contact listed on the application and PMI to allow the auditor to verify the information.
3. As part of your university program to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in business, you took two semester long project management courses. Those courses will contribute to which categories of education on the PMP® application?
They can count towards the 35 contact hours and they are part of the Bachelors education.
They can either be used as part of the Bachelor’s Degree or as the 35 contact hours, but they cannot be used for both.
They are part of the Bachelor’s Degree, but they cannot be used for the 35 contact hours. Those hours must be spent in a PMP® Preparation course.
