1. What is the role of the project Core Team?
The Core Team is a cross-functional team that coordinates and integrates the project work of all of the functions on the project.

2. Who should be assigned to the role of Core Team member?
All project team members who are responsible for working on a project task or activity or Core Team members.
A functional manager who is responsible for the individuals who are assigned to the project.
The individual from the function that will represent the function during project planning and oversee the functional activities during project execution.
3. What should a Core Team member do if the project objectives and functional standards are in conflict with each other?
Stop all functional effort until the project leader or stakeholders changes the project objectives.
Work with project stakeholders and functional managers to find a compromise that is acceptable to both.
Submit a project change to bring the project objectives into alignment with functional standards.
