It is the tasks that are the most difficult to accomplish within the estimated time.
It is the sequence of events in the project that will have the most immediate impact to the project completion date.
Critical path has no practical meaning. It is an abstract concept that is used when integrating multiple projects together.
2. What two project planning elements are required to be able to calculate the critical path on a project?
WBS and project end date.
Project budget and Responsibility Matrix.
Network diagram and task duration estimates.
3. What is the project impact of a one week delay of a task that is on the critical path?
There is no impact to the project.
The project will be delayed by one week.
The project will be delayed by one day to one week depending upon whether there is a new critical path.
