1. Under what conditions would you terminate employees who have been working on a project at the time of that project’s administrative closeout?
If there is no other project or position for them to be transferred to and if the organization that has operational responsibility for the project result does not wish to retain them as an SME.
At the time of closeout all project employees are placed on administrative leave. If a new position is found for them within 60 days, they move to the new position, otherwise they are terminated.
Employees are never terminated when a project is closed out.
2. Before determining whether you need to archive a project document during administrative closeout, what should you determine about the document?
Whether the document was created as a paper document or an electronic document.
Whether the document contains controversial or proprietary information.
The purpose of the document and the audience that was intended to receive the document.
3. If a physical asset that is owned by a customer was provided by the customer to a specific project and used by the project to meet a requirement related to that customer, what should be done with the asset during project closeout?
Once the project is completed, the physical asset can be sold, scrapped, or recycled.
The asset is returned to the customer for them to determine a disposition.
The asset is transferred to another project with ties to that customer.
