A tuxedo to the office pool party or ripped jeans to the opera with clients.
Whatever makes you comfortable.
You should wear something appropriate for the occasion and the people you are meeting. This could be a suit at the office, a polo shirt on the golf course, or something dressy for a cocktail party.
2. Why does it matter what type of clothing you wear in business situations?
You want the people you meet to focus on your messages, not to be distracted or confused by what you are wearing.
You don’t want to offend anyone.
You don’t want your clients or colleagues to think you are unfashionable.
3. Do you need to dress in a boring way with no individuality in order to fit in?
Yes, it is best to be forgettable.
No. If your outfits make you memorable, help close business deals and establish relationships, that’s fantastic. However it’s good to consider if what you are wearing will distract, confuse or alienate your audience.
Yes, save your favorite outfits for the weekends.
