Use company letterhead and recommended templates.
Give as much detail as possible – that’s why the letter format is chosen in the first place.
Make sure the letter opens with any specific actions suggested or required.
3. Which of these is an example of appropriate style and formatting in a business letter?
Notes regarding any CC: name, enclosure, etc. should be at the top of the page.
Begin the greeting with “Dear ____:”.
Align the letter on the left margin, single space, and indent or tab 5 spaces at the start of each new paragraph.
