1. How do we insert a new image onto our Keynote canvas?
Either drag and drop or by clicking the “Media” button on our toolbar.
By right-clicking on the canvas and choosing “Insert image”.
By clicking on Insert on the menu, then by choosing “Image”.
2. How do we set the background of an image as transparent, allowing other objects or backgrounds to be seen from behind?
Keynote doesn’t allow you to adjust image transparency within Keynote itself. To do this, we need to first open the image in an expensive image-editing application like Photoshop.
First, we need to highlight the image. Next, we click on the “Edit Mask” button on the Image tab of the formatting pane. Last, we select an area that we want to set as transparent.

3. How would you convert a color image to a black and white image using built-in tools in Keynote?
Highlight the image, then select “Convert to black and white” from the “Image” tab on the formatting pane.
Highlight the image, select the “Advanced adjustments” button from the “Image” tab on the formatting pane, then slide the “Saturation” slider to the far left side.
Highlight the image, right-click and choose “Convert to black and white” from the menu.
