1. Where do you find the Backup feature in Outlook?
Hidden under File, Options, Advanced, Export.
Only the Microsoft wizards know...
It can’t be found because it’s not called Backup.
2. What is the difference between a “Comma Separated Values” file type and an “Outlook .pst” file type?
Just use the default one Outlook displays. It’s probably the best one anyway.
Comma Separated Values is compatible to Excel or Outlook; Outlook Data File (.pst) is compatible to Outlook only.
It is okay to use either one.
3. What reasons would a Backup serve its purpose?
No reason to backup; I trust all computers!
Sharing a data file with co-workers.
If there is a computer failure or data loss, you have your important information stored and available to re-import.
