1. For what reasons would comments be useful?
To leave notes to myself.
Teachers, book editors, legal or corporate documents, or just notes on your own documents.
To decorate a document with little callout boxes in the margins.
2. You receive a document, you see the callout boxes, and you want to review them as fast as possible, what do you do next?
Print the document and read the comments at your leisure.
Review Ribbon, Show Comments, scroll through the document.
Review Ribbon, Show Comments, click Next and Previous to skim quickly to the comments.
3. You are done with the comments, the document is in its final version, how do you make sure all comments are removed?
Just turn off “Show Comments”, the callouts won’t print anyway.
Review Ribbon, Delete comment one at a time.
Review Ribbon, Delete comments, select “Delete all comments in Document” .
