1. For what reasons would Track Changes be useful?
To see all the color changes on a document.
Viewing which people (or authors) made which changes to a document.
To confuse people just for the fun of it.
2. When Track Changes is turned off, why do the markups still appear?
Because Track changes is separate from “displaying” changes. That needs to be set to ‘No Markup’.
Don’t use Track Changes and you won’t have that problem.
Because the changes haven’t been accepted or rejected.
3. Why bother with the Accept/Reject buttons?
They clear out the mark ups and finalize the document.
It’s fun to be the approver and rejecter of changes.
Many people offer changes, but one final person accepts or rejects those changes. Plus it clears out the mark ups and finalizes the document.
