1. What normally occurs during Part 2 of the Sprint Planning meeting?
The Stories for the Sprint are selected and the Infrastructure Stories are added to the Sprint Backlog.
A Scrum Team member is assigned to their tasks and the detailed schedule and Gantt chart are prepared.
The Stories in the Sprint Backlog are deployed into tasks and the effort to complete each task is estimated.
2. What are typical units used to estimate the Stories and tasks during Part 2 of Sprint Planning?
Dollars or euros of cost.
Hours or days of effort.
Days or weeks of duration.
3. Why do Agile/Scrum projects often deploy the Stories into tasks based upon Test Driven Design (TDD)?
Test Driven Design ensures that the Stories that are completed have been thoroughly tested and leads to a minimally viable product.
Test Driven Design simulates the Sprint Demo environment and therefore simplifies the Scrum Team preparation for the Sprint Demo.
Test Driven Design is easier to manage by small teams than using the other task deployment approach of Earned Value Management.
