Project teams must archive project files when the project closes. Functional business teams do not need to archive documentation.

The facilitator ensures that every team member is able to state their concerns about the change in leadership.
The facilitator can manage the logistics and timing of the meeting.
The facilitator can speak for the team to present the team perspective about team strengths, weakness, and the role of the team leader.
3. What is a typical team leader closure action when closing a functional business team?
Ensure team members have access to obtaining new positions in the organization or job placement resources.
Prepare performance appraisals for all team members.
Hosting a celebration for the team.
