Goal setting Decision making

Believe it or not, there are significant parallels between how business relationships are formed or goals are achieved and how a game of chess is played. In this quick course taught by author, Agile coach and avid chess player Michael de la Maza, PhD, you'll be able to draw these parallels as well and apply them to your role and professional development. Michael first discusses how chess games allow you to hone in on what truly matters, and how you can apply these concepts into business. He goes on to share how you can use this foundation as a means to evaluate data and pay attention to details when making decisions. Finally, Michael discusses his tips for practicing to make perfect and how you can push past criticisms and learn lessons instead. This short course, filmed in an interview format, will arm you with the tools to start confidently making business moves just like a chessmaster would.
