Microsoft Excel can seem complex and overwhelming, but the happy news is that most of what you need in the spreadsheet world regarding finance-related jobs can be quickly learned. In this course, former CFO and Rockstar Excel founder Steve Friedman uses his decades of Excel experience to show you how easily the tool can analyze and plan your company’s or employer's finances. Steve focuses on methods that are simple to implement and tackle a large amount of work with little effort. He gives you the nails to build a strong Excel foundation by laying down the basic building blocks. Steve then walks you through simple-yet-powerful tools. Tools with complicated and menacing names will morph into marshmallows by the end of course: you’ll think of XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and SUMIF as puffy desert fare. Finally, he guides you on best practices, troubleshooting, and the mental aspects of using Excel. Upon completion of this course, you’ll be able to quickly create complex spreadsheets concerning cash and financial forecasts, and automatically track expenses, income, inventory, employees, time, and more.
