1. What is a contiguous data range?
A range of data with no blank cells.
A range of data uninterrupted by blank rows or columns.
A range of data made up of distinct values.
2. How is a contiguous range in a data set created?
Remove all blank rows and columns.
Go to the Data tab and click the Make Contiguous button.
Sort the data set so that all data types are together.
3. One method for creating a contiguous range is to start by entering consecutive numbers all the way down the column immediately next to multiple non-contiguous ranges. What is the main benefit of doing this?
It enables you to write better formulas.
It enables you to use the range as a PivotTable data source.
It enables you to sort and filter the data.
