Tonia Phanor, Ph.D.

With a global perspective, Dr. Tonia empowers leaders and teams to think and communicate effectively across borders. Having resided in Japan, Italy, South Africa, and various parts of the United States, she brings invaluable cross-cultural experiences to the discourse on intercultural communication. As the founder of Excel Communication, she has spent over two decades honing the communication skills of leaders within the educational and business sectors. Dr. Tonia holds a BA in Speech Communication from Pepperdine University, an MA from the University of Georgia, and a Doctorate in Public Communication from Georgia State University. Her people-centered approach to leadership training and her role in devising communication strategies for organizations have taken her worldwide, conducting both in-person and virtual training sessions.
