Stare at a fixed point above their heads.
Focus on making eye contact with the whole audience.
Focus on an audience member for a few seconds at a time and make eye contact with them.
2. What is the main benefit for you of making one-on-one eye contact with the audience?
The audience member you connect with will feel special.
You can dominate the audience member with your gaze.
It feels like you are having a one-on-one talk with someone, and can help take away the nerves from speaking to a large group.
3. Why is it important to practice what you will do in a business situation on video?
It will give you an idea of how to act to make people like you and manipulate them to close deals with you.
It will give you an idea of how you will appear to your audience, and you will be able to keep doing things you like and improve things you dislike. You will feel more confident and self-assured when you have practiced and know how you come across.
You can go through the motions beforehand so you will feel less nervous.
