1. Why aren’t spaces allowed in a range name?
Space is the intersect operator in Excel: the software would assume one name is being intersected with another.
They are allowed.
It is difficult for end users to determine how many spaces there are between characters.
2. Which feature / function allows you to replace cell reference(s) with range names in Excel for all occurrences on a worksheet?
‘Use in Formula’ from the ‘Defined Names’ section of the ‘Formulas’ tab of the Ribbon.
