1. What should your setting have to be effective?
A unique and rare location and circumstance.
Specific descriptive details. For example in TJ’s story some of these were: a beautiful palace, Eastern Europe, surrounded by guards.
2. Why should you use a setting in your story?
To show people how many places you have traveled to.
Describing the setting allows the audience to visualize the story taking place and remember it.
To make your story seem more realistic.
3. Why should you include emotion in your story?
To manipulate the audience.
Emotion provides variety in the flow of your presentation, allows people to imagine it clearly and remember the story.
The audience can identify with you based on the emotions you describe.
