1. What is the easiest way to scale a print job so that all columns are forced to one page, but it will print as many pages as needed to display all the rows?
In Print Preview, set the scaling to “Fit Sheet on One Page”
On the Page Layout tab, set the Width to 1 page.
Manually scale the job until it fits
2. How would you get Excel to print the date and time of the print job in the header of each page?
Use the =NOW() formula in row 1, then repeat row 1 at the top of each page.
Go to Page Layout > Print Titles > Custom Header, type “Printed “ and click the date and time icons
Go to Print Preview and check the “Time stamp in header” option
3. If you wanted to repeat the top 5 rows on every page you print, where would you go to configure this?
Page Setup > Print Titles
Page Setup > Print Area
