1. How do you create the Sparkline shown below?
Right click H2 and choose Insert --> Sparkline, then select the data
Select the data in B3:G3 --> go to Insert --> Sparkline --> Line and choose to place it in H3, then change it to a Column Sparkline
Select the data in B3:G3 --> go to Insert --> Sparkline --> Column and choose to place it in H3
2. What must be done in order to get the top data point in a Sparkline to show in a different color, as shown here:
Right click the highest data point on the Sparkline and change the color
The High Point checkbox on the Slicer Tools tab must be checked
You must choose a style that uses black columns with a yellow value for high points
3. One challenge with the Sparkline is that it must be built against data on the same worksheet. What change needs to be made to the Sparkline if you want it to remain visible when you hide the source data?
The Sparkline’s Hidden and Empty Cell Settings needs to be modified to show data in hidden rows and columns
No changes are required as the Sparkline will continue to show
The Sparkline’s Style needs to be modified in order to show hidden data
