1. What is the purpose of including QR Codes in a catalog?
To make me look smart and important.
They provide more information than possible on a print publication, for instance, sending the user to a website product page.
It looks confusing, so why bother?
2. The first step to including QR Codes in a catalog is…?
Get someone in your office to create the QR codes somehow.
I have no idea.
Find a QR Code generator online and create/save the images to your database.
3. To add the QR codes to the database, how do you alter an existing database?
Open the catalog file, click “Edit List”, click the database name, click “Edit”, then add the new field named “QR Code”.
Open the database from MS Access and edit it there.
Just start over with a new database. Editing an existing one is too hard!
