1. The video mentions the chevron marks during the mail merge setup. Why are these important?
The chevron marks are the codes around the data field. If deleted, Word won’t know to pull data into the field area because the code is broken.

2. When merging a list to envelopes, can you sort them alphabetically ahead of time?
Yes, find the list file and manually rearrange them alphabetically.
Yes, when “Selecting Recipients” and viewing your list, click SORT on the bottom section on the dialogue box.
Type them in alphabetically in the first place and you won’t have to worry about it.
3. What if my envelope size is not the standard mailing size?
In Step 2, select “Change document layout”, click “Envelope Options”, choose a different size.
Resize the document page ahead of time under Page Layout.
In Step 4, Preview your envelope, if you don’t like the size, fix it under Page Layout.
