Data-Driven Storytelling: Inspire Action through Data
Data-Driven Storytelling: Inspire Action through Data
What you’ll learn
Skills you’ll gain
Most organizations are aware that making data-driven decisions is essential to growing a business and improving performance, but many aren’t aware of how to use data and charts to tell powerful stories that convey not only the "what," but also the "so what" and the "what next." In short, most organizations don’t play their data’s concerto. They need to play the music. In this course, longtime trainer Rebeca Pop shares how to leverage the narrative arc to tell dynamic data stories and how to incorporate annotations, colors, and inspiring headlines to craft static data stories that inspire action. Rebeca will give you numerous tips and tricks along with a handout that you can use in future endeavors. After this course, you’ll be better skilled to elevate data storytelling for your reports and presentations.
