How to Influence & Persuade
What you’ll learn
Skills you’ll gain
Success in business depends on being able to get your viewpoint heard and your ideas taken seriously. So how do you feel about your powers of persuasion? Have you ever been told you're a little gullible? Or if someone tries to talk you into doing something you'd really rather not, do you recognize their tactics? If not, your persuasion skills could use a little strengthening. In this course, taught by author and executive coach Don Gilman, EdD, you'll learn how to recognize persuasion techniques when they're being used against you, as well as how to use those powerful techniques to influence others. you'll learn how to dance between the two tactics of pushing and pulling, use methods of matching and mirroring that feel authentic, and you'll be able to frame important conversations more meaningfully. By the end of this course, you'll become much more influential, and you'll be able to do it in a way that feels natural and authentic rather than manipulative.
