Skills you’ll gain
Diversity at work doesn't just focus on one's gender, race, or ethnicity - it also encompasses how their brain processes information, makes decisions, and is able to work productively. In this course, you'll hear from Neuropsychologist and gifted research expert Dr. Nicole Tetreault on what neurodiversity in the workplace truly means. First, Nicole shares details around how our brain's function, why they're unique, and how this uniqueness impacts one's approach to work. She then dives into common forms of neurodivergence, sharing key characteristics and strategies to support each form at your place of work. Nicole also reviews common side effects that neurodiversity can have and shares how you can support yourself and those around you when these instances can occur. Finally, she discusses neurodivergence as part of an overarching inclusivity effort, and gives guidance to helping your organization become more understanding of neurodiversity.
