Create a Poll to share with attendees in a Teams Meeting.
When to use
We set up a poll in a Teams meeting whenever we want to get real-time feedback from meeting participants.
Instructions
Set up a Poll
We can use Forms to set up a poll in a Teams meeting.
- Click on the App Launcher.
- Click Teams.
- From any channel, click the Meet button to start a Teams Meeting.
- Name the meeting 'Team Meeting'.
- Click Join now.
- Click Chat to open the conversation pane.
- Click the three dots and click More apps.
- Search for Forms.
Now we can create our poll question.
- Type 'What type of working style do you prefer?'.
- Add the following options:
- Working from home.
- Working in the office.
- Hybrid.
- Other.
- Click the check box next to Record names of respondents.
- Click Preview.
- Click Send.
The form is now available in the Teams meeting and all participants can vote and submit their responses. It's a great way of getting instantaneous feedback.
- Select your response.
- Click Submit.
