Excel Challenge 18: Perform a Two-Way Lookup and Approximate Match

This Excel challenge promises to be fun! We want to perform a two-way lookup and use that value to output text from a range. 

To get started,

1. Watch the challenge video. 
2. Download the Excel worksheet. 
3. Complete the challenge tasks.
4. Share your solution, discuss, or ask for help in our Slack channel.

The Challenge

Here’s the scenario: 

The first table on the worksheet carries a 5-day temperature forecast for seven cities around the world. Next to it is the accompanying outlook for each temperature range.

You need to:

1. Create dropdown lists for the city and day in the input cells, and 
2. Create formulas that will find the forecasted temperature in the first table, and display the outlook that corresponds to that temperature. 

The tasks are easy to understand, but the solution might require a bit of effort, so get started early! Stumped? Pick up a couple of hints by watching these tutorials.
