Display insert dialogue box – Microsoft Excel shortcut
Rapidly add rows or columns to your spreadsheet, wherever you like. This shortcut opens the insert menu so you can add cells above, below, or to either side of that which you already have selected.
On the Mac you can use both the Windows shortcut and the Mac shortcut.
